Full-time Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Chemical R&D Engineer to join our manufacturing team in the UAE, specializing in the development and production of Car Care and Auto Detailing products.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in chemical formulation, product development, laboratory testing, and scaling formulations from laboratory level to commercial production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop new Car Care and Auto Detailing chemical products.
* Create and optimize chemical formulations.
* Improve existing products in terms of performance, quality, stability, and production cost.
* Prepare formulations, raw material percentages, and manufacturing procedures.
* Conduct laboratory trials, stability tests, compatibility tests, and performance evaluations.
* Scale up formulations from laboratory batches to full industrial production.
* Select and evaluate suitable raw materials and chemical suppliers.
* Prepare technical specifications, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot technical and production-related issues.
* Work closely with production and quality teams to develop high-performance products competitive with leading international brands.

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
* Proven experience in R&D, formulation development, and chemical product manufacturing.
* Strong preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in Car Care, Auto Detailing, Automotive Chemicals, or related manufacturing industries.
* Strong knowledge of raw materials such as:
Surfactants, Solvents, Polymers, Silicones, Emulsifiers, Abrasives, Waxes, and other specialty chemicals.
* Ability to develop a product from concept and laboratory formulation through to commercial manufacturing.
* Good understanding of laboratory testing, product stability, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to troubleshoot formulations and improve product performance.
* Good command of English.

Strong Advantage:
Candidates who have previously developed and commercially launched Car Care or Detailing products are highly preferred.Applicants should be able to provide examples of the types of products, formulations, or R&D projects they have previously developed or worked on.
